Animal Critical Care Emergency Service
The emergency service, ACCES is staffed by a team of dedicated professionals who care for animals requiring emergency, advanced, or intensive treatment. They provide continuous monitoring and nursing to our special patients. These patients include trauma and accident victims, pets with severe diseases, as well as those recovering from major surgical procedures.
ACCES utilises all of the same facilities as the VSC as well as dedicated monitoring and life-supporting equipment. Artificial ventilators and oxygen supplementation, blood gas analysis, ECG, blood pressure monitors, radiography and ultrasound are all used routinely to provide our patients with the highest quality care.
You do not need a referral for ACCES unless your pet is transferred to us for continuous care from your own vet. If your regular vet is closed and your pet needs care fast, ACCES is there 24 hours a day 365 days a year.
